Juanita L. Perry died February 12, 2018 at the age of 85. She was born October 28, 1932 in Eastland County Texas to Barnie Lee and Avery Delma (Rattikin) Butler. Juanita moved to Black Diamond in 1974 with her husband and sons where she lived for many years.
She was a waitress at many restaurants throughout the Plateau and Maple Valley before becoming at cashier at the Goodwill where she worked until she was 83.
Everywhere Juanita went she knew someone, she was very social and well known in the community. She enjoyed getting manicures, flower gardening and spending time with her family.
Juanita is survived by her sons Virgil Perry (Sandra) of Anadarko, OK, Eugene Perry of Enumclaw, and Nelson Perry (Danielle) of Black Diamond; sister Bonnie Snyder (Marshall) of Yelm; brother Willie Butler of Lakewood; grandchildren: Willow, Leah, Christopher, Justin, and Jedrik Perry; and 3 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband Jessie Perry; daughter Patricia Perry; sisters Mary Ryzak and Elizabeth Ingram; and brothers Charlie Butler, Eugene Butler and Bobby Hughes.
A visitation will be held from 4-8 p.m. on Tuesday, February 20, 2018 at Weeks’ Enumclaw Funeral Home.
A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, February 21, 2018 at Chapel Wood Baptist Church 30410 3rd Ave., Black Diamond.
Juanita will be laid to rest beside her husband Jessie at Tahoma National Cemetery in Kent.
