The Maple Valley Creative Arts Council invites everyone to the opening night artist’s reception for Brenda Chrystie, Saturday, November 4, 2017, 6:00 – 9:00 p.m. The reception is free, family friendly, and open to all!
Larger abstract paintings, small mixed media pieces and Impressionistic landscape paintings all embody the process of making whereby Ms. Chrystie deliberately leaves apparent the possible mistakes, alterations and overpainting to reveal the intuitive manner in which the work comes into being.
Light refreshments will be served including wine and cheese. There will be live music performed by classical guitarist Andrew Beers. He will perform works of York, Villalobos, JS Bach, Tarrega, Barrios, Johansen, Brower, Giuliani, Paganini and more.
