John Markus Jr. known to many as “Johnny” was a lifelong resident of Ravensdale, WA, where he was born on August 24, 1924 to John Sr. and Ada Markus. John passed away at the age of 92 on March 14, 2017 at the home he built and lived in throughout his life with his family by his side.
Johnny is survived by his Wife Margie of 70-years, their, three sons; Randy and wife Susan of (Ellensburg), Son’s Ronny-Kim and Tom (Ravensdale) and Daughter Teresa and her husband CJ Casson (Seattle).
They also have 10 beloved Grand-children and 17 great grand-children. Johnny is also survived by his Brother Virgil and his wife Sybil Markus of St. Helen’s, Oregon and their gracious family and other relatives and in-law’s.
There are many others that will dearly miss John’s kindness, smile and his biggest attribute, “his great big heart”.
Services will be held at the Tahoma National Cemetery on April 21, 2017 @ 10:00 a.m. (assembly for his service starts at 9:30 a.m.) (18600 SE 240th St., Kent 98042).
