Wilma Kuna
Wilma Kuna went to be with the Lord on July 19, 2016, after battling lung cancer, at the age of 80.
She was born November 9, 1935, in McKenzie, Tennessee to JC and Ethel Mae Burke. Wilma grew up in Detroit, Michigan, where she married and had 3 children. They moved to Renton, Washington in 1960.
After raising her children, she united with Fred Freidrichsen and resided in Maple Valley. Wilma’s elegance, kindness, compassion and contagious smile left us all too soon.
Wilma was preceded in death by her parents, brothers, husband Fred Freidrichsen, and her first husband Don Kuna Sr. She is survived by her children Donna Bogdan, Don Kuna Jr. (Diana), Debbie Prottas; step children Ann Freidrichsen, Jerry Freidrichsen; 10 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
Services will be held on Wednesday, July 27, 2016 at 1 p.m. at Marlatt Funeral Home located at 713 Central Ave, N. Kent, followed by Celebration of Life at 3 p.m.at the Lake Wilderness Villa Clubhouse.
