Tahoma High School Principal Terry Duty announced to students and staff on Wednesday that accesso ShoWare Center in Kent, Wash. will host the 2022 THS graduation ceremony on Tuesday, June 14 at 7 p.m.
“We are excited to have this impressive venue lined up to celebrate our graduating seniors,” Duty said. “ShoWare Center will provide the space needed to give this year’s graduating class and their families the experience they deserve to culminate their Tahoma experience.”
With its 4,000-seat capacity for graduation, ShoWare Center provides ample room for each graduating senior to invite multiple attendees, and there are approx. 1,500 free parking spots within walking distance of the arena. ShoWare Center is conveniently located in Kent, Wash., and is less than a 30-minute drive from Tahoma High School. Additionally, the indoor location will allow for the ceremony to continue regardless of weather conditions.
We will update families with more specific graduation details as they become available. A senior meeting is being planned for early May.
