Myron Rasmussen was born on August 8, 1934 in Glasgow Montana. He went to be with the Lord on December 29th, 2021 in Renton Washington.
Myron left behind his wife Arletta of 69 years, and 4 adult children, Sharlene Bielefeld, Myrna Eller, Terry Rasmussen and Tim Rasmussen, along with multiple grandchildren and great grandchildren. He is also survived by brother Elwyn Rasmussen and sister LaFern Janson.
Myron worked the bulk of his work life in aerospace, working as Chief Estimator and Finance Supervisor in the missiles program for the Boeing corporation in Seattle Washington.
He loved traveling to the different places Boeing took him and lived with Arletta in Saudi Arabia for 4 years.
In earlier years he worked and loved his work in teaching and coaching. He was well respected in both arenas, impacting young lives. Myron loved camping, hunting and fishing. Another love of his was gardening. He never seemed to tire of weeding and taking care of his very large vegetable gardens.
Myron will have a celebration of life service at Generational Hope church in Maple Valley Washington on February 12th, 2022, at 11 a.m.
