Families from four apartment units have been displaced tonight following a fire in the 22400 block of Benson Rd. on April 21, 2019
Firefighters from the Puget Sound RFA were displaced at 6:22 pm and were able to see a smoke column from several miles away. When they arrived on scene, they found the two-story building with flames coming from three units.
A second alarm was dispatched due to the possibility of the fire spreading to other, uninvolved apartments.
Red Cross is assisting the displaced families. The apartment complex’s manager is helping them to find other housing.
The fire is under investigation.
