On April 18 between 7:55 a.m.-5 p.m. on the 26700 block of 191stPl. SE, when a resident returned home, the house was flooded with water. Check of the house revealed that a float assembly in the toilet had been ripped out. The resident has had problems in the past with items being stolen from the house.

On April 17 at 3:22 p.m. on the 16700 block of SE 271stSt., a male went to city hall to complete paperwork so he could get his vehicle out of impound. Check of the male revealed he had a warrant out of another city for failing to appear for Theft, 3rddegree. The male was booked into SCORE (South Correctional Entity) on his warrant.

On April 10 between midnight and 6:30 a.m. of April 11 on the 19500 block of SE 270thPl., someone entered a vehicle and stole a house key, as well as mailbox keys.

On April 24 at 4:25 a.m. on the 17200 block of 140thAve. SE, a male was driving his girlfriend’s vehicle when he parked it at a gas pump, left it unlocked, left the engine running and then went inside the business. Upon return, the vehicle was gone. At the time of the theft, the male’s cell phone and wallet were inside the vehicle.

On April 19 between 12:01 a.m.-11:58 p.m. on the 13000 block of SE 188thSt., deputies were dispatched to a collision where a male in his late teens was observed running away from the area where the sound of the collision had been heard. Upon arrival, a box truck was observed having collided with two parked vehicles in a driveway and then hitting a street light pole, dragging it a number of feet from the sidewalk into the truck. Search of the vehicle revealed five different social security cards belonging to different people, ID cards, concealed pistol license, keys, credit card, blank check, receipt for items purchased from a business, a license plate opened from stolen mail, and an inmate ID card. Case forwarded to detectives for review.

On April 19 between 12:01-6 a.m. on the 21800 block of 210thAve. SE, someone entered unlocked vehicles and stole items within as well as from the trunk. A coin holder was ripped out of one vehicle and stolen items included sunglasses, radar detector, and GPS.

On April 18 at 5:33 a.m. in the area of SE 348thand 331stAve. SE, a vehicle was observed parked backwards in a driveway of a vacant property. With headlights illuminating the vehicle’s inside, two occupants were observed in the front seats. Both male and female exited the vehicle stating they were just having a romantic relationship. The couple got back in the vehicle and left the area.

On April 13 between 5:30-7:29 p.m. on the 32400 block of SE Green River Gorge Rd., a deputy responded to an overturned vehicle. Upon arrival, the vehicle was observed resting on the driver’s side down an embankment without anyone inside. Contact of the owner revealed that the vehicle was supposed to be parked at a business. According to the owner, who IDed the vehicle, it had been stolen as no one was supposed to drive it after business hours. The vehicle was towed back to the yard.

On April 10 between 6 p.m. and 5 a.m. of April 15 on the 24000 block of 204thAve. SE, someone entered an unsecured residence and stole electrical wiring on the floor as well as from an electrical pole outside the property.
Maple Valley
On April 20 between 2-7:26 p.m. on the 23900 block of SE Kent Kangley Rd., officers were dispatched to a suspicious male making inappropriate comments to an employee and refusing to leave. Upon arrival, the male quickly walked outside of the business while ignoring an officer asking him to come over to talk. Officers caught up to the male who denied making any comments to the employees. He also stated that he was just hanging out. The male was given a trespass warning letter.

On April 20 at 7:30 a.m. on the 26500 block of SR 169, a male was contacted outside a business and stated he was just using the microwave oven to heat up some cinnamon rolls. The rolls were purchased from another business. The male denied taking anything else from the business. Following an investigation, the male was given a trespass warning letter and released.

On April 18 at 7:11 a.m. on the 25700 block of Maple Valley Way, two male juveniles were observed riding a small motorcycle on school grounds. The males were given trespass warning letters. Attempts to contact parents at that time ended with negative results.
