Black Diamond

On October 8 at 1:42 a.m. on the 21700 block of SE 291 St., officers attempted to arrest a subject with a felony warrant. The subject ran out the back of the residence as officers arrived. The subject was not located, but are continuing to look for him.

On September 30 at 8:43 a.m. on the 30200 block of 234th Ave. SE, it was reported that a resident received numerous phone calls at his residence advising he won 10 million dollars. The resident refused to speak with the unidentified caller and hung up on all occasions. Officers filed a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) on behalf of the resident and recommended the resident contact the phone company to

block the caller.

On September 30 at 1:07 a.m. on the 32500 block of McKay Lane, officers were dispatched for a female at a residence asking for help. Officers located the female, who was having problems with her vehicle. Officers provided a courtesy transport for the female and male passenger to Enumclaw.

Covington

On October 9 at 3:28 a.m. on the 25200 block of 161st Pl. SE, a suspicious male was observed walking around a neighborhood. Upon seeing a patrol vehicle, the male ran into a yard before coming out to talk with the officer. The suspect stated he was visiting a friend before being released.

On October 8 between 7:16-11:46 a.m. on the 25900 block of 180th Ave. SE, residents were inside their home with the garage door open. A male was observed walking into the garage and then walking out. The male got into a vehicle and left at a high rate of speed. A purse was observed in the male’s hand. Check of the unlocked vehicle revealed the purse that had been in the vehicle was now missing.

On October 2 at 2:35 a.m. on the 26000 block of 188th Ave. SE, two males in hooded sweatshirts were observed getting into an unlocked vehicle parked in a driveway and stealing a garage door opener. A second theft occurred in the area with the suspect getting into another unlocked vehicle and stealing $5 in change from that vehicle.

King County

On October 13 at 1:41 a.m. in the area of 140 Way SE and Renton/Maple Valley Rd. SE, while deputies were at a traffic stop, they heard the sound of a collision as one of the patrol vehicles moved forward, and then the sound of the suspect vehicle’s engine being revved. Upon contact, the male driver was told to exit his vehicle. Multiple cans of beer were observed in the back seat of the vehicle, however, the male stated he had nothing to drink. Upon exiting his vehicle, a glass pipe fell out of the male’s lap. Following an investigation, the male blew breath tests of .244/.242. The male was booked into King County Jail for investigation of DUI.

On October 13 at 1:19 a.m. in the area of 140th Way SE and Renton/Maple Valley Rd. SE, while driving through a business parking lot, a vehicle was observed stopped with lights on and the driver standing outside of the vehicle. When the driver saw the patrol vehicle, he got in his vehicle and drove out of the lot. Upon contact, it was observed that the passenger was possibly attempting to mask any odors coming from the inside of the vehicle by spraying the air with body spray. A box of possible marijuana was observed inside the vehicle, which both driver and passenger denied smoking or ownership of the marijuana. Following an investigation, check of the passenger revealed he had a felony warrant for failing to appear for two Possession of Dangerous Drugs and Possession with intent to distribute. The male was booked into King County Jail on his warrant.

On October 11 at 7:52 p.m. on the 20200 block of SE Pipe Line, a resident went out to check the sound of a loud truck and observed a dump truck dumping garbage on the road. When attempting to make contact, the driver sped away. The owner of the truck was tracked down, but said he had lent the truck to a friend. After being informed the truck had been used for an illegal dump, the owner stated the scrap would be picked up.

On October 10 between 6 p.m. and 1:21 p.m. of October 12 on the 19700 block of 208th Ave. SE, someone attempted to break into a shed as well as stole a utility trailer.

On October 9 at 3:03 p.m. on the 28400 block of 168th Ave. SE, a male contacted police about a female, who stated she was visiting and refused to leave. Check of the female revealed she had a warrant for Trespass, 1st degree. The male stated the female had lived at the residence, but he wanted her gone. He was told he needed to go through a formal eviction process. The female was booked into SCORE (South Correctional Entity) on her warrant.

On October 7 at 9 p.m. on the 17800 block of 157th Ave. SE, officers were dispatched to a burglary in progress. The male, believed to be high on drugs, had entered a residence before being removed to the outside again. Following an investigation, the male, who admitted to taking too much cocaine, was transported to a medical center for treatment.

Maple Valley

On October 7 at 11:37 p.m. on the 23500 block of SE 254th St., a male with three warrants – Negligent, 1st degree, Obstructing a Police Officer, and Minor in Possession – was located sleeping in a vehicle. The male was booked into Kent Jail on his warrants.

On October 6 at 12:53 p.m. on the 21600 block of SE 272nd St., it was reported that a couple of months ago a female was sitting with her purse on the back of a truck in a business parking lot. She left her purse behind to walk over and speak to a male friend. Upon return a few minutes later, the purse was missing. Several days later, she was notified that her bank account had been overdrawn.

On October 5 at 7:46 p.m. on the 26500 block of Maple Valley/Black Diamond Rd. SE, a male and female were reported as possibly using heroin in a vehicle in a business parking lot. Upon contact, the male was observed passed out in the driver’s seat with drug paraphernalia around him. The female was observed texting with drug paraphernalia around her as well. Following an investigation, check of the female revealed she had a warrant for Theft, 3rd degree. Both male and female were trespassed from the business as well as charge with Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. The female was booked on her warrant.
