Black Diamond
On September 23 at 2:31 a.m. on the 31100 block of 3rd Ave., officers were driving in the area when they heard a loud explosion. Upon check of the area, a BBQ lid was found that appeared to have been launched by an explosion. Officers were unable to locate the source of the explosion, and no one called 911 to report the incident.

On September 22 at 5:52 p.m. on the 30800 block of 229th Ave. SE, officers were dispatched in regard to concerns about power being restored to an abandoned residence. Upon arrival, officers were able to determine that no crime had been committed, and that the owners of the residence had requested power be restored.

On September 19 at approximately 1:56 p.m. on the 30000 block of 225th Ave. SE, officers were contacted by a subject who wanted to turn in a wallet he had found on the side of the road. Officers located a Washington State identification card inside the wallet and drove to the owner’s residence. Upon contact, the owner was provided with his wallet.
Covington
On September 26 at 1:48 p.m. on the 18400 block of SE 262nd Pl, a known male was observed as a passenger in a vehicle. Check of the male before contact revealed he had a warrant for Violation of the Uniform Controlled Substance Act. Upon contact, the male was taken into custody and booked at the Regional Justice Center on his warrant.

On September 21 at 9:27 a.m. on the 27100 block of 164th Ave. SE, it was reported that a male had parked his motorhome in a business parking lot. He had been contacted to move along the previous week, but stated that a friend was coming to help fix the home. A threatening note was attached to the door of the home stating that if anyone knocks on the door, they will be assaulted. Upon contact the male recieved a Trespass Warning Letter and left the property.

On September 20 at 12:45 p.m. on the 27100 block of 185th Ave. SE, a male contacted a restaurant stating that he and his girlfriend became very sick after eating at the restaurant the day before. He wanted to know that if they came in, would they receive a free meal because of the inconvenience. They were told that the issue would be taken care of if they brought a receipt in with them. When the couple came in, they were seated and allowed to make an order. They were contacted by the assistant manager and stated that they were unable to produce a receipt. After stating where they were seated the day before, the assistant manager reviewed a video twice to see if the couple was in the restaurant. While looking at the video a second time, the assistant manager was informed the couple had finished eating and had left the business without paying. The couple was not seen in the restaurant where they indicated they were the day before.
King County
On October 3 at 3:10 a.m. on the 17300 block of SE 187th St., someone threw two 4-5” rocks through two living room windows causing damage. Footprints were observed in the grass. A vehicle was heard being driven away from the scene after the breakage. Earlier in the morning, at 2:48 a.m. on the 18500 block of 147th Ct. SE, someone threw a large rock through an entryway window that struck/damaged a table before denting a nearby wall. A vehicle was also heard speeding away from the scene after that incident.

On October 1 between 2-11 a.m. on the17500 block of 151st Ave. SE, someone jacked a vehicle up and stole all four wheels/tires.

On September 30 at 5:43 p.m. on the 21700 block of SE 298th Pl., deputies were dispatched to a disturbance in progress. Upon arrival, a male was observed walking with his hand in his pocket. According to one witness, the male was screaming at her and accusing her of being someone she was not. Other witnesses felt threatened by the male by his actions and his abusive language, as well thinking he might have a weapon. The male was booked into King County Jail for Disorderly Conduct.

On September 30 at 1 a.m. on the 26300 block of 348th Ave. SE, deputies were dispatched to a vehicle stopped in the roadway with the driver asleep. Upon arrival, the vehicle was still running with lights on. One deputy leaned through the window and turned the vehicle off, as well as removed the keys. The male, who had a very strong odor of alcohol coming from him, finally woke up and was pulled from the vehicle. The male gave two breath samples of .199/.196 and was booked into King County Jail for Physical Control of a Motor Vehicle While Under the Influence of Alcohol. The vehicle was also impounded.

On September 28 at 9:37 p.m. in the area of SE 224th St. and 276th Ave. SE, deputies were dispatched to a collision with a vehicle in the ditch and partially blocking the roadway. Upon arrival, two males were observed helping the female driver out of the driver’s seat of the vehicle. After failing the Field Sobriety Tests, the female gave two breath samples of .205/.212. The female was released to a family member pending filing of charges for DUI and her vehicle impounded.

On September 25 at 4:40 p.m. on the 27300 block of SE Kent Kangley Rd., a female with a Driving While License Suspended, 3rd degree, warrant was contacted at home and booked into Kent Jail on her warrant.
Maple Valley
On September 30 at 4 p.m. on the 24200 block of SE 271st Pl., it was reported that someone stole a travel trailer.

On September 27 at 2:52 p.m. on the 27000 block of Maple Valley/Black Diamond Rd. SE, an officer was dispatched to a business for shoplifter. Upon arrival, it was learned that a male had concealed multiple items inside a backpack that he grabbed from the business. The male also concealed multiple other items inside his jacket pockets and waistband of his jeans before walking out of the business and into the parking lot. The male stated that he stole the items because he was homeless and hungry. The male was released pending filing of charges for Theft, 3rd degree.

On September 22 at 10:25 p.m. on the 23400 block of SE Tahoma Way, it was revealed that students were sharing an e-cigarette in a bathroom. Upon contact, it was discovered that one was no longer a student at that school. The former student was trespassed.
