William R. Maggs was born on 9/27/1930 in Roslyn, WA. and passed away on 1/16/2017 in Shelton, WA.
He is survived by his wife Barbara, sons Jeffery Maggs, Todd Maggs, stepson, Michael Gray, and 5 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
He was prededed in death by his son William Maggs.
He was in the Marine Corps. from 1954 – 1958. He worked for Pacific Northwest Bell from 1959 to 1984 and retired 1984.
William loved restoring John Deere tractors and was active in the Rainer 2 Cylinder Club, Kiwanis of South Seattle for several years and was a Cub Scout leader.
Service will be held on April 7, 2017 at 11:30 a.m. at the Tahoma National Cemetery, located at 18600 SE 240th Street, Kent, WA. 98042
Following the burial a Celebration of life will be held at Stocktons Restaurant, located at 23220 Maple Valley Black Diamond Road, Maple Valley. WA. 98038.
