Billy Wilson was born on April 5, 1936 in Cosmoplis, Washington.
Bill attended school in Kent, WA.
In 1956 Bill Served in the US Air Force for four years and was stationed in Iceland for a year as an aircraft mechanic.
Bill worked with his family business logging heavy equipment and trucking and then became a trucker. He loved trucks and doing mechanics work. He enjoyed working outdoors, landscaping, and refurbishing his homes in Maple Valley and in Texas.
Most of all he loved his family and being around people. He married Carol Davenport in 1995. Grateful for sharing his life are his wife Carol; three sons: Alan Wilson of Cisco, Texas, John Wilson of Rainier, WA, Gary Wilson of Roy, WA. and three daughters: Tamra Wilson of Falls City, WA; Lisa Boma of Say Brook, IL and Tamela Davenport of Marysville, WA and his dear friend who Bill loved as his adopted son Johnny Towerton.
19 grandchildren and 25 great grandchildren, spouses and family also survive Bill. He also left behind his brother and best friend Ed Wilson.
Bill was preceded in Heaven by his parents and three brothers, Bob, Harry and Skeets Wilson.
A service will be held at Tahoma National Cemetery on Wednesday, December 7 at 1:15 p.m.
