2007 Tahoma Senior High School graduate Brandon Gillespie returned home in October 2013 following a six-month deployment to Kuwait.
His wife, Lynnsi (née Maze, also a Tahoma graduate, in 2008), and daughter, Madison, age 3, were at Norfolk International Airport in Virginia to welcome him. Madison had not been told her father would be there.
Brandon Gillespie enlisted in the Air Force in January 2008, completing basic training at Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio, Texas. Currently, he is stationed at Elmendorf Air Force Base in Anchorage, Alaska.
