On September 28 at 9:49 p.m. on the 30700 block of 229th Ave. SE, an officer contacted a known subject. Upon concluding the contact, the subject got into a vehicle and drove off. The officer checked the subject’s driving status later and found the male had a suspended license. The male was cited via mail at his residence.

On September 27 at approximately 7:55 p.m. in the 23100 block of SE 312th St., officers received a call regarding a suspicious parked vehicle. Officers arrived and contacted two females who stated that they were parked on the side of the road to talk. The subjects were asked to leave the area and they complied.

On September 27 at approximately 12:49 a.m. on the 32500 block of 3rd Ave., officers were dispatched, for an Agency Assist to the King County Sheriff’s Office. Upon arrival, it was found that a female driver was in-custody because she had a warrant out of the Enumclaw Police Department. Officers took custody of the female, and transferred her into the custody of Enumclaw.
Covington
On October 6 at 8:31 p.m. on the 16800 block of SE 251st St., a male and female that were parked on the side of the road were contacted. A check of the two revealed the female had a warrant for Driving While Intoxicated. The female was booked into King County Jail on her warrant.

On October 5 at 8:51 p.m. on the 17000 block of SE 270th Pl., an officer was dispatched to a shoplift that had just happened. The female was contacted after walking to a nearby business. The male texted the female that he was at another business a short distance away. Upon arrival, the male was gone; however, the merchandise from the business was in the male’s vehicle. The female was trespassed from the business and then released from the scene pending filing of charges against the female and male of Theft, 3rd degree.

On October 4 at 2 p.m. on the 27000 block of 185th Ave. SE, a male was observed shoplifting at a business. Upon contact, and while checking the male, more merchandise was found on his person. He had been observed purchasing one item, but not the others. The male stated he was out of work and he stole the items, as he had no money. The male was given a Trespass Warning Letter. He was also turned over to another police department for a warrant. Additional charges of Theft, 3rd degree, were recommended for the male.
King County
On October 3 at 8:52 p.m. on the 32600 block of 194th Ave. SE, it was reported that someone stole a chainsaw from a garage following a possible garage door being left open.

On October 3 at 1:44 p.m. on the 31000 block of 182nd Ave. SE, it was reported that a possible known suspect might have entered a barn/workshop and stole various tools including router hammers with tool bits, nail guns, weed whacker, and chainsaw. The possible suspect had been a transient living on a property that had been sold. It was thought that the transient, who disappeared at the same time as the new owner’s unsecured tools, had gone to another area where he was allowed to build a cabin. Attempts by the owner to contact the transient ended with negative results.

On October 2 at 2:25 a.m. in the area of SE 171st and 140th SE, a male, finding himself recently homeless, was discovered living in his vehicle in a business parking lot. The male was told that he had to move due to property owner policy. The male was cooperative and polite.

On October 3 at 1:30 a.m. in the area of SE 216 and SR 169, a homeless male and female were discovered parked behind a business with the lid to their vehicle up, back of the vehicle open and tools on the ground. Both were cooperative when asked to leave.

On September 28 at 3 p.m. on the 28900 block of 211th Ave. SE, male and female residents were doing work outside along with a male hired help. At the time, the garage door was opened and a door to the house unlocked. At one point, the male resident went to the dump and the female went inside. When she came out of a room, she observed dresser drawers open and her purse gone through. Cash and checkbook were missing. Upon confronting the male help, he denied being involved in the incident. Attempts to contact the male ended with negative results at the time.

On September 28 between 10 a.m.-1:53 p.m. on the 35100 block of SE Green River Gorge Rd., a truck owner parked his truck while out picking mushrooms and upon return, the truck was missing.
Maple Valley
On October 6 at 8:32 p.m. on the 24600 block of 232nd Pl. SE, a male was contacted at his parent’s house for a felony warrant – Vehicle Assault and Reckless Driving. The male was booked into King County Jail on his warrant.

On October 1 at 8:46 p.m. on the 21800 block of SE Wax Rd., officers were dispatched to a disturbance involving 3 juvenile males in a heated argument. Upon arrival, one male, who was cursing, talking loudly and being aggressive, was being held back by the other males. Upon contact, the male had an odor of alcoholic beverage on his breath. Contact with a parent revealed he could no longer live with at the residence, as he was a danger to them. The male blew a breath test of .114 and was transported to a local hospital for treatment. The male was recommended for charges of Minor in Possession to the Juvenile Prosecutor.

On September 28 at 12:09 p.m. on the 21200 block of SE 279th Pl., a male reported that his pistol, which was stored in the center console of his vehicle, was missing. The male thought he might have left his vehicle unlocked.
